Who we are
Since the late 1990s, my professional career has been defined by the seamless integration of energy engineering, structured project finance, fuel logistics and long-term strategic planning. My expertise has been built on the ground and in control rooms rather than from desks, resulting in a rigorous, technically grounded approach that remains deeply connected to the real-world operation of energy systems.
I began my career in Uruguay participating in the commissioning of a Solar Turbines (Caterpillar) dual-fuel turbine for UTE. That machine sparked my definitive interest in alternative energies and gas-renewable hybrid models. From that point onward, I played a pioneering role in structuring the financing and development of the country’s first private wind farms, advising on both capital raising and execution of projects that today represent hundreds of megawatts of installed and operational capacity.
During the 2000s, my involvement in the Volvo Ocean Race gave me an in-depth understanding of maritime fuel logistics and the technical requirements of low-sulphur bunker fuels—an experience I later applied to designing supply chains for biodiesel and transitional fuel-oils. The contacts established during that period currently manage key terminals and fleets for the regional supply of both conventional derivatives and advanced biofuels.
Subsequently, I collaborated with investment funds specialising in energy infrastructure, which allowed me to master green project finance structures and the interplay between financial markets, regulatory bodies and development banks.
Since then, I have maintained trusted technical relationships with multilateral organisations, development banks and sovereign funds, with whom I design and implement orderly and equitable energy-transition strategies.

Vision & Method
My current professional practice focuses on the design and execution of comprehensive energy transition and optimisation strategies, encompassing both conventional sources (crude oil, natural gas and their derivatives) and renewable sources (bioethanol, advanced biodiesel, green hydrogen, and utility-scale wind/solar energy).
My role within the energy ecosystem is defined by a systemic approach: I forge alliances among refinery operators, agro-industrial biofuel producers, renewable-project developers, specialised investment funds and regulatory authorities, structuring transactions to the highest international technical and financial standards. Rather than replacing existing frameworks, I redesign and scale them toward hybrid models that deliver greater resilience and a significantly lower carbon footprint.
I operate exclusively under globally recognised technical and contractual frameworks (ISCC-EU, Bonsucro, RED II, ASTM D6751/EN590 for blends, renewable PPAs, voluntary carbon contracts) and with legal governance under Swiss or English jurisdiction or ICC/SCC arbitration. Every project I lead incorporates full origin traceability, independent sustainability verification (SBV), strict KYC/AML compliance and life-cycle analysis (LCA) in accordance with ISO 14067.
My objective is to restore technical and economic efficiency across energy value chains without compromising security of supply or decarbonisation commitments. My guiding principle is straightforward: those who produce, transform, distribute and assume technical and regulatory risk must enjoy real, long-term operating margins. To that end, I develop hybrid architectures that combine direct access to refineries and terminals with the integration of advanced biofuels, redundant logistics guarantees and robust contractual structures that enable an orderly transition to a cleaner, more sustainable energy mix.
